There are many opportunities to serve at San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission! If you’d like to serve a meal more than once with a group, the leader would need to fill out the application below. Another way you can help is by hosting a dinner and delivering or having food delivered to the families here at the shelter. An example of that would be sending food from Pollo Loco for Mexican night! Below is a link to an online form you can submit to secure the date you would want to host dinner! COVID safe system in place! For more info, email atorres@erescuemission.org and cc: info@hopeforla.org.

Hope for LA is excited to partner with Helping Hands Community! It’s a new nonprofit organization dedicated to serving those most vulnerable to COVID_19. They have a platform that connects at-risk community members with local volunteers for support with critical errands like grocery shopping or pharmacy visits, enabling them to stay home, safe. They’ve also built this platform with scale in mind. It can work anywhere in the country, so long as there are volunteers signed up and people requesting support through the website. If you have a loved one or know of anyone in your community that would benefit from extra support, please share this initiative with them or place a request on their behalf through the Helping Hands Community website. You can also volunteer to help deliver HERE!
