Hope for LA is excited to partner with Helping Hands Community! It’s a new nonprofit organization dedicated to serving those most vulnerable to COVID_19. They have a platform that connects at-risk community members with local volunteers for support with critical errands like grocery shopping or pharmacy visits, enabling them to stay home, safe. They’ve also built this platform with scale in mind. It can work anywhere in the country, so long as there are volunteers signed up and people requesting support through the website. If you have a loved one or know of anyone in your community that would benefit from extra support, please share this initiative with them or place a request on their behalf through the Helping Hands Community website.
